The FAT-HS has a Bafang mid-drive motor with 1000 nominal watts of power and a whopping 160 Newton meters of torque, for a max speed of 30 mph. This motor feels every bit as powerful as it sounds, and because it’s a mid-drive it’s also able to utilize the gearing of the bike for either extra torque or extra speed.

The Everything Bike

People worry that 4" Fat Tires require too much centrifical energy to get optimal speed......This bike has a lot of rubber on the road and plenty of muscle to turn those tires." "Best of both worlds" I have the 19" Frame and have found this bike to be the perfect for "Metro Riding" With full suspension it's a "Mountain Bike" its a "Road Bike" It has enough muscle to fly by non electric bikes. After completing over 20 mountain biking trips I have come to realize that fat tires fly up hills that the small tires will spin out on and when stopping quickly on loose gravel they grab the road better. Fat tires can become formidable if using liners and slime. When riding with friends on the trail who don't have e-bikes the assist level #2 is good with an occasional throttle to keep up. When in assist #3: I would fly ahead too fast and eventually have to wait for everyone or constantly hit brakes when following someone. This bike has become the best thing I have ever bought.

Jest got the bike it has plenty of power. The suspension works very well for a heavy bike. The seat and pedals need to be changed out. I like platform pedals and a old lady seat. Very fast delivery . well packed 30 minutes set up. Frist trip 34 miles. Fun fun fun
